Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds are built to fit as tight as possible in your window opening for proper tension and support. This means the Click2Fit extension lever or plunger will extend beyond the width it was ordered when not installed. When both ends (adjustable extension end & lever end) are fully compressed in the window opening, the full headrail width will measurement will be within 1/8" of the originally ordered size. If you suspect your product was not made at the correct width, please read the following instructions for how to measure your Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds Headrail for accuracy.
For a regular, external Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds Headrail:
- Start with the shade and headrail uninstalled. Remove the product from the Click2Fit headrail.
- Measure the aluminum part of the Click2Fit headrail ONLY, do not include either of the plastic "boot" ends in your measurement. See the guide below for specific instructions.
- The measurement of the aluminum bar alone should be either 1/4" or 5/8" narrower than the ordered size (+/- 1/8"), depending on the product that you ordered. For your product's specific width deduction, check the product page on our website and look in the Specifications tab, near the bottom of the product page.
For Built-In Click2Fit No-Drill Blinds Headrail:
- Start with the shade uninstalled.
- Ensure the lever is fully retracted. This works best if you flip the headrail upside down so the lever is facing and pointed up towards the ceiling.
- Measure the entire headrail, including both "boot" ends. See the guide below for a visual.
- The measurement of the full headrail should be 1/4" narrower than the ordered size (+/- 1/8").
For Twist2Fit No-Drill Blinds Headrail:
- Start with the shade uninstalled.
- Measure the entire roller tube, excluding both tension/plunger ends. See the guide below for a visual.
- The measurement of the roller tube should be 2" narrower than the ordered size (+/- 1/8").
