Honeycomb/Cellular Shades (Outside Mount)

First, decide where you'd like to mount the blind outside the window frame. You'll need at least 2 ½” of flat surface. You can mount it on top of the trim or hang it above the trim. For more detailed mounting information, check the "Specifications" tab on the product’s information page.

Measuring the Width

• Begin by measuring the exact width of the window opening in three main places (top, middle, and bottom).
  
  
• Record the largest width out of the three measurements.
  
  
• You’ll use that measurement and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered. For more light coverage and privacy, add even more to the measurement.
  
  
• When ordering, use this final number for the width.

Measuring the Height

• Measuring the height is easy. Simply measure the height of the window in three places, including the top left, the middle, and the top right, all ending at the bottom of the sill.
  
  
• You’ll use the largest of the three measurements and add the recommended minimum of 4 inches. This will ensure the window is properly covered.
  
  
• The final number you come up with will be the height you use when placing your order.
