Shutters are a bit different from our other products and require precise measurements for inside mounting. They need the smallest width and height for a perfect fit. Watch the video below for an overview on how to measure for inside mount shutters:
Shutters have a unique method for measuring for an outside mount. You’ll need to add extra measurements to the width and height to ensure the frame fits properly on the wall around the window. Watch the installation video below for more details:

Quick Measuring Tips
- Use a steel measuring tape.
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for width, round down to the nearest 1/8".
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for height, round up to the nearest 1/8".
- Always check your product's specifications at the bottom of each product page to ensure accurate measurements.
