How do I install my new blinds or shades?
Blinds or shades typically require a pencil (or pen), a drill, and a level. If you're installing a No-Drill Headrail, only a level is needed. For more details, view our installation instructions.
How do you take the No-Drill Headrail off of a Roman shade?
Detach the headrail by removing the product from the bracket on the bottom of the headrail. Most Roman shades have a wingnut with a drop bolt bracket as seen below:
Loosen the wing nut on the underside of the headrail until it has been removed from the drop bolt. Do so on all brackets that the product is attached to, then take the product off of the drop bolts.
Some Roman shades are attached with a swing arm bracket, as seen below:
Swing the front arm from the right side to the left to detach the product headrail from the No-Drill Headrail.
After you remove the product from the headrail, you can use a flat-head screwdriver to use leverage to pull the lever down to release the tension that the No-Drill Headrail uses to hold itself in place. Download our quick reference guide here for further insight.
Can a valance be ordered for a window covering after an order is received?
Not all products come with a valance, though some can be ordered separately after purchase. Certain products have an integrated valance that cannot be altered post-production. Alternatively, you can purchase a Cornice Board for additional coverage. For more details, please contact our Customer Service Team with your order number, and we will provide a specific answer.
Can a roller shade cassette be ordered after an order is received?
Roller shades ordered without a cassette cannot have one added later. If a cassette is ordered, the product will be fully integrated into the cassette during production.
Can you order a shared cassette option with more than one roller shade?
Yes! We offer products with two rollers in one cassette, available here. Please note that this option cannot be added after the product has been delivered.
