- Visit the "Specifications" tab on your sheer shade’s page to learn about the flat surface requirements for an outside mount. Typically, you'll need about 1” of flat wall space to make it work.
Measuring the Width

The width is found by measuring the top, middle, and bottom of the window.

Take the largest width and add at least 2 inches to each side to give you more light coverage.
- That is your width for your sheer shades.
Measuring the Height

The height is found by measuring the top left of the window to the bottom, the middle, and the top left.

Take the largest height and add at least 2 inches to the top and to the bottom to give you more light coverage.
- That is the height for your sheer shades.
