Wood Blinds (Inside Mount)

Make sure your window has enough depth for inside mounted wood blinds. For more details on the specific requirements, head over to the product’s information page and click on the "Specifications" tab.

Measuring the Width

• Measure the exact width (left to right) of the inside edge of the window frame in three places (top, middle, and bottom).
  
  
• Record the smallest width out of the three measurements down to the nearest 1/8”.
  
  
• If you are getting a 1/16” or 1/32” increment, round down to the nearest 1/8”. (For example, if the smallest measurement is 24 9/16", round down to 24 1/2". If it's 24 3/8", no need to round down.)
  
  
• This is the width you will order.

Measuring the Height

• Measure the exact height (top to bottom) of the window frame in three places (top left, center, and top right down to the window sill).
  
  
• Record the largest height out of the three measurements up to the nearest 1/8”.
  
  
• If you are getting a 1/16” or 1/32” increment, round up to the nearest 1/8”.  (For example, if the largest measurement is 24 9/16", round up to 24 5/8". If it's 24 1/2", no need to round up.)
  
  
• This is the height that you will order.

We’ll handle any necessary deductions based on the measurements you provide, so there’s no need to adjust your own measurements. Don’t add to the width in anticipation of deductions. We’ve got it covered. If you’re looking for more light coverage, consider an outside mount.
